Gypsy Morph pg 285
Alright, after asking around a little bit, it appears that all of the copies of The Gypsy Morph cut out randomly on page 285. Brooks' official website says that the chapter was planned that way - the character doesn't make it, and ends mid thought. I'm of the opinion that it should have ended with a dash then, to signify that the thought was cut off. But if that was the way it was planned, then so be it! (I just think the way it is it looks like the printers made a mistake or something!)

Hello! I am so glad I found your page about this as I am just catching up. I, too, searched high and low and could not even find that page you referenced as the page wasn't archived on the wayback machine. :( I totally agree that there should have been dashes indicating a thought cut off because that's how it's done!
I'm glad this was helpful!!! That's unfortunate that the page doesn't exist anymore - you'd think having this information around somewhere would have been important since it was such a big question people had when the book was published. :(
